Small boat deck renewal: from survey to EVA teak
Opening up a weakened deck on a small boat, new lamination and sub-floor, then a EVA teak covering.
Situation
The structure under the deck had weakened and was rotten in places.
Method
We opened the deck, cleaned out the weak areas and measured with a scanner and by hand. New lamination stiffened the floor before the deck was closed, and EVA teak panels were cut to the measurements and laid.
Result
The boat was delivered with a sound floor and a new EVA teak deck. 12-month warranty on workmanship and materials.
