Data controller
This notice is given under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) by the data controller, Marinex Yatçılık İmalat San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (Göcek Mah. Çaltılar Cad. No:3/A, Fethiye / Muğla). You can reach us at info@marinexyacht.com.
What data we process
Quotes and contact: your name, phone number, e-mail address, boat type and length, the marina where the boat is, the work you need and any photos you send us.
The quote form on this site does not store your data on our server; when you press “Send”, what you fill in reaches us as a WhatsApp or e-mail message.
Ad source: if you reached our site from a Google ad, “(G)” is added to the end of your WhatsApp message, or of the e-mail you send from the quote form. It is read only from the page address, without cookies; you can see it and delete it before sending. We use it only to see which ads work.
Site use: only if you accept cookies, data on how the site is used and how our ads perform (pages visited, device and browser, approximate location, clicks). See the cookie policy for details.
Server logs: for security and under Turkish Law No. 5651, our hosting provider keeps IP addresses and access times for the period required by law.
Why we process it
To assess your request, prepare a survey and quotation and contact you.
To carry out an accepted quotation and contract, invoicing and legal obligations.
With your consent, to measure site use and the effect of our advertising.
Legal basis
Processing directly related to entering into or performing a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c), our legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç) and our legitimate interest provided it does not harm your fundamental rights (Art. 5/2-f).
Analytics and advertising cookies rely only on your explicit consent (Art. 5/1), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.
Who receives it
Where needed for the work, our accountants, our hosting provider and authorised public bodies.
Google (analytics and advertising, only with your consent), WhatsApp and our e-mail provider process data on servers abroad. Under KVKK Article 9 these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the provider’s standard contract and, for occasional transfers where none exists, on your explicit consent under Article 9/6-a.
How long we keep it
Quotation correspondence is kept for up to 2 years if no work follows; if work is carried out, for the periods required by law (10 years for commercial records), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you may learn whether your personal data is processed and request information on it, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties in Turkey or abroad it is transferred to, ask for correction, ask for deletion or destruction under Article 7, ask that these actions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to, object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
