Seating set: from design to manufacturing
A motor yacht’s flybridge seating in six steps: scan, design, fibreglass from the plug, product, test fit and delivery.
Brief
The owner wanted a new flybridge seating set that works with a dining table and follows the yacht’s deck and rail lines.
Method
The first step is a scan on board: we 3D-scanned the flybridge and modelled the seating to fit from that data. A plug was made and the fibreglass parts laid up from it. The finished modules were test-fitted in the workshop, then fitted on board.
Result
The seating and table were delivered very close to the design render. 12-month warranty on workmanship and materials.
